MTA NSW announce a Consumables and Materials price increase Aug 2010
The Motor Traders Association of NSW is writing to all Insurance companies on behalf of the Motor Body Repair Industry of NSW in light of the increases from Paint Companies and other motor repair industry suppliers of consumables and materials that have occurred since September 2009 up until March 2010. In conjunction with Key Industry stakeholders, Suppliers and Repairers, a review has now been carried out based upon these documented increased costs.

The overall impact of these increases for the 2009 to 2010 financial year review was a 3% increase, including the 2.18% CPI result. This represents a 10% increase to the cost of these consumables and materials since the inception of Realistic Times & Rates Methodology in 2007.
