Version 2 has been under development for 2 years. MTA has developed a Realistic Times Guide based on the recommendations of 2 Productivity Commissions and the Stay Safe Committee’s review; Repairing to a Price Not to a Standard, which was adopted by the MVIRI Code of Conduct. RTRM methodology, as defined by MTA, is based on a conversion of FTFM as the starting point and then supplemented with actual information drawn from trials and testing involving R&R, DA operations, Painting processes and procedures required to undertake such repairs as supplied by the relevant manufacturers.  

MTA NSW on behalf of its members has created an Electronic Times Guide for use by the motor vehicle body repair industry, called the MTA Realistic Times Guide.  

The MTA RTG has been created by the Industry for the Industry.
